Credit Repair Background:
Amalia didn’t know she had an overdue amount with Virgin Mobile. She was contacted about the overdue amount by phone and was surprised she still owed them as her contract had ended with Virgin. She found out about the listing when she applied for a credit card.
What were any challenges with the creditor?
Virgin had agreed to the removal of the default however there was delays with the request being sent to Veda Advantage (now Equifax) and Dun and Bradstreet. We tried to follow the matter up but received no response from the case manager. Ultimately we had the matter re-assigned to a new case manager who had previously dealt with MyCRA Lawyers and they had sent the removal request to Veda and Dun and Bradstreet promptly.
Why was the listing removed?
The listing was removed at request stage based on the information on the account file with Virgin Mobile.
Summary:
Amalia was referred to our office by her mortgage broker. We managed to negotiate removal of her default in 19 days and Amalia can now move forward financially. Congratulations Amalia and good luck!
