Credit Repair Background:
Joseph had an account with Vodafone in which was incorrectly charged excessive data charges. When he called to question the bill Vodafone told them that the data package had gone up with out his consent because he was close to his data limit.
Joseph disputed the charges specifically with TIO and it was found that Vodafone incorrectly charged Joseph.
What were any challenges with the creditor?
There were no issues with the creditor as they responded to MyCRA Lawyers requests in a timely manner.
Why was the listing removed?
As Joseph’s TIO complaint was only about the data charges, an investigation never took place surrounding the default. The letters from Vodafone were being sent to an address Joseph had never provided to Vodafone and never live at.
Summary:
Joseph was referred to our office by his mortgage broker. Joseph wanted his default removed from his credit file. We managed to negotiate removal of his default listing in 21 days and Joseph can now move on with their life knowing that they are no longer impaired by the incorrect listing. Congratulations Joseph and good luck!
