Credit Repair Background:
In October 2015, Mike had been diagnosed with depression. This obviously has been going on prior to October and made him lose track of things, especially since he also felt the pressure of owning his own business.
What were any challenges with the creditor?
We had issues with Panthera Finance as they advised there was a delay with obtaining documents from Westpac.
Why was the listing removed?
MyCRA Lawyers investigated the matter as Panthera Finance advised that the default was correct. We found that there was an error in the time frame of when Westpac listed the default from when they sent a default notice to Mike, and when MyCRA Lawyers brought this to Panthera Finance’s attention, the default was removed.
Summary:
Mike contacted our office as he and his partner applied for a home loan but got rejected due to defaults on his credit file which he didn’t know about before that. We managed to negotiate the removal of this listing and Mike is now a step closer in achieving finance. Congratulations Mike and good luck!
