Credit Repair Background:
The default happened when Megha had to leave the country for a month to renew her Visa. Whilst away, her application was declined and she had to reapply. Megha was eventually provided with a 457 Visa and came back into the country. This put her under enormous financial hardship.
Additionally, she had been receiving her phone bills via email since she first started with 3 Mobile, which then became Vodafone, and whilst she was away she was no longer receiving any bills or statements. Her mailing address had not changed despite being out of the country.

What were any challenges with the creditor?
ACM and Vodafone refused to remove the default.

Why was the listing removed?
ACM and Vodafone wouldn’t agree to the removal request. TIO would not investigate as they stated that Vodafone’s response was valid.
