Credit Repair Background:
Garrie has listings on his credit file. The listings are not his debts as these debts actually belong to GDK Electrical Services. Garrie was employed by them, but the company went into liquidation.
What were any challenges with the creditor?
Axess refused to remove the listing at the time of the investigation.
Why was the listing removed?
Axess would not remove the default because Telstra told them not too. MyCRA Lawyers went to the TIO and raised fact that there is no contract so no proof of debt or consent to disclose information to a CRB. Our Law Firm also raised fact that on the DnB report, it is listed as a commercial default but on Equifax, it is consumer. Telstra also advised that the account was set up as a sole trader account but Garrie advised that he has never been a sole trader. MyCRA Lawyers raised misleading or deceptive conduct and possible fraud. Telstra then agreed to remove default.
Summary:
Garrie engaged MyCRA Lawyers to investigate the likelihood of removal of listings on his credit file. These debts actually belonged to his employer when the company went into liquidation. MyCRA Lawyers negotiated the successful removal of his bad credit default listing in 112 days. Garrie* is now a step closer to achieving a finance approval. Congratulations Garrie and good luck!
