Credit Repair Background:
Sam* (name changed to protect identity) was a student at the time and wanted to know if he could get a loan, he spoke to ANZ over the phone to query it and was not aware that speaking to someone would have him apply for a loan and a subsequent enquiry on his credit report. Sam* did not accept the loan. Later, Sam* wanted to get a loan and was declined due to too many enquiries on his credit report.
What were any challenges with the creditor?
There were no issues with the creditor as they responded to our requests in a timely manner.
Why was the listing removed?
ANZ agreed to remove the default as client was unaware that talking about the enquiry over the phone would put an enquiry listing on his credit report.
Summary:
Sam* was referred to our office by his mortgage broker. Sam* wanted his enquiry listing removed as he is applying for home loan. We managed to negotiate removal of his enquiry listing in 19 days and Sam* is now a step closer in achieving finance. Congratulations Sam*!
