Credit Repair Background:
Christina runs an accounting firm and her husband runs a Michelle’s patisserie. Christina believed that quite a number of stock received was off or out of date and their supplier had been promising credit notes for 8 to 9 months. Throughout that time invoices were paid on time, but after such an extended period of time without the credit notes, Christina’s partner said they should no longer pay until the credit notes have been provided.
Unfortunately there appeared to be problems going on within the franchise; causing Christina and her husband to pull out of the franchise and sue the franchise all for lost stock fees.
In relation to the default judgment, neither Christina or her husband were served notice. Their franchise agreement states the address for service is Christina’s accountancy firm, and Christina is adamant she has never received anything either personally or by mail.
What were any challenges with the creditor?
The Plaintiff responded to our Law Firm requests in a timely manner.
Why was the listing removed?
The Judgment was removed as Bankruptcy Notice was issued on January 2018 in amount of $8298.72, payment of $9298.72 resulted in withdrawal of Bankruptcy Notice and signing of Consent Orders to set aside Judgment and dismissal of proceedings.
Summary:
Christina was referred to MyCRA Lawyers by her mortgage broker and she engaged MyCRA Lawyers to investigate the likelihood of removal of a judgment on her credit file. The listing was the direct result of the time there was a dispute with a supplier. Christina only discovered the judgment when she applied for finance and was declined. MyCRA Lawyers negotiated the successful removal of her judgment listing in just 6 days. Christina and her partner can now achieve a finance approval. Congratulations Christina and good luck!
