Credit Repair Background:
At the time of getting the initial account, Troy and his wife were in severe financial difficulty due to being unemployed and his wife needing $700 for breast biopsy. Ellen had a default listing with Telstra. Ellen was originally with Optus and had issues with coverage so she cancelled the account and ported number to Telstra. Telstra promised Ellen that they could provide 100% working service to her address however they had similar issues with service delivery. She was then advised that her only option was to sign up for home internet bundle and did this but had a faulty modem and was advised she would need to purchase a new one out of her own money which she did and service still did not work. Credit Repair Background:
Aaron has default listings and an enquiry on his credit file. The listings happened when Aaron was in remand for 5 weeks as he broke a window in his own home. His ex-partner called the police and he was charged with aggravated assault. He plead guilty to get out of gaol, not realising the impact it would have on his life.
