Credit Repair Background:
The default happened when Jonathan had an argument in shared house and he moved out. He was not aware of any outstanding debt to ActewAGL. He is still an ActewAGL client and they have got his details but they had never contacted him.

Credit Repair Background:
Amber had a judgment from her kids’ previous school from when her ex-husband did not pay it. Amber separated from her husband and she decided to transfer their children into public school as she was not in a financial position to cover the entire costs of the children’s schooling. Credit Repair Background:
Christina runs an accounting firm and her husband runs a Michelle’s patisserie. Credit Repair Background:
Karen had an account with AGL, and she was confident she finalised the account when she left her property. AGL rang her about the overdue account, and she advised AGL that she thought she finalised the account, yet AGL said she did not. She requested AGL to send her the account. She received a letter dated 9 June but didn’t collect mail until some time after as she was sick. She knew about the default when she was rejected a loan claim. Credit Repair Background:
Citisolar supplied Daniel an inverter which was broken. He notified Citisolar of the defective product and requested a refund. However, they declined Daniel’s request for a refund and instead demanded him pay the full amount for the broken inverter. Daniel disputed Citisolar’s invoice due to the broken inverter which was delivered to him. Unbeknown to Daniel, Citisolar instituted proceedings against him. He was made aware of the Judgment on his credit files as a result of a finance application being rejected.

What were any challenges with the creditor?
It took awhile for Brisbane Magistrates Court to respond to our request to provide copies of court documents. After receiving the court documents, a request letter along with these were sent to Citisolar’s solicitors, who refused to respond in a timely manner

Why was the listing removed?
The solicitors signed the Consent Orders to set aside judgment.

Credit Repair Background:
The alleged debt arose from Adam’s fiancé’s dispute with the Plaintiff in relation to payment of the Plaintiff’s invoice(s), and the nature of his fiancé’s dispute was due to the Plaintiff providing her with defective equipment.
